Emergency & reporting

Know who to call and what to share

If something feels off, report it early. If it is dangerous, get to safety first — then call. The aim is to keep things simple, calm, and easy to follow under pressure.

Primary contact

RSE Control Room

Best local start

Best for suspicious activity, incidents, alarms, panic activations, and anything where local visibility and coordination matter.

Best for anything in progress where fast local coordination matters.
Life-threatening

Emergency services

Immediate danger

For serious injuries, fire, violent crime in progress, or major accidents, contact emergency services first.

If safe to do so, notify the Control Room as well so local response can be coordinated.
What to report

Short, factual details help most

Core details

  • Where it is happening
  • What you saw or heard
  • Whether it is happening now or already passed
  • Direction of travel if moving

Vehicle details if safe

  • Number plate, even partial
  • Make or model
  • Colour or standout markings
  • Occupants or anything noticeable
Even a partial report helps. Do not delay trying to get every detail.
